Why parents choose us

More than a class — a foundation for who they become

Jiu-Jitsu works regardless of size or strength, which is exactly why it's one of the best forms of self-defence and confidence-building for children.

🛡️

Real self-defence

Practical skills that work regardless of your child's size — genuinely useful, not just for show.

🎯

Confidence & discipline

A structured belt and stripe system gives kids a clear, earned sense of achievement.

Coordination & fitness

Balance, motor skills and agility built through movement games, not boring drills.

Parent questions

Everything you're wondering about

My child is shy — is that a problem?+

Not at all. Our classes are built around games and group activities, which naturally bring shy children out of their shell at their own pace.

Does my child need to be fit or flexible already?+

No. Coordination, flexibility and fitness are things the programme builds over time — they're not a requirement to start.

Is it safe?+

Classes are structured and age-appropriate, run by experienced instructors, in a supportive environment designed with children's safety and wellbeing in mind.

Is there a contract?+

Membership is a no-contract, monthly rolling payment. If you need to cancel, we just ask for one month's notice in line with your payment schedule — and you can freeze for up to 3 months after the first month if needed.

Can I stay and watch the class?+

Yes — parents are always welcome to watch from the side of the mat, and in Tiny Tigers you're actively encouraged to join in.
