Professor Lucas Luz is a second degree Black Belt and the head coach at Gracie Swindon He is 4 x British BJJ Champion, he was awarded his black belt at the legendary Gracie Academy at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil under Rolker Gracie, son of Helio Gracie, founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Actually, he continues his studies in Jiu-Jitsu under the supervision of Master Robin Gracie, Jiu-Jitsu, like all Martial Arts is it in constant evolution.
Lucas has been training Jiu-Jitsu for 20 years in Brazil. He began his journey in Jiu-Jitsu in Nova Geração BJJ academy with Master Francisco “Toco”. During his journey he’s trained with the multi time world champion Celsinho Venicius.
He is the head Instructor of Gracie Swindon and an active black belt competitor of Robin Gracie Team. Lucas has already fought in several international tournaments in different countries, such as Spain, Brazil, Denmark, and England.
He wishes to develop Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Swindon and around the UK, putting all of his real passion in Jiu-Jitsu as a Martial Art and way of life.

Jacob is a black belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu under professor Lucas Luz.
Training in jiu jitsu, grappling, and martial arts since 2008, including spells doing judo, boxing, kickboxing and MMA, he started training at Gracie Swindon as a blue belt in 2016 and immediately knew he had found the perfect place to reach his full potential. He began working as an instructor at Gracie Swindon in 2018 and has dedicated himself to trying to perfect his jiu jitsu fundamentals, and his ability to coach them to students of all ages.
He truly believes that jiu jitsu has massive benefits for everyone, and is always ready to adapt and go the extra mile for students of any age or ability.
